Privacy

Who we are

Eshmere Ltd runs eshmere.ai and tenda.eshmere.ai. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17239365, at Osbourne Suite, 2.08 Imperial and Whitehall, 23 Colmore Row, Birmingham, B3 2BS. You can reach us at hello@eshmere.ai.

What we collect

• If you email us: your email address and what you write.
• If you create an account: the details you give us, such as your name and email address.
• When you visit: the server logs every website keeps, including your IP address.

These websites have no analytics. Tenda's ads, and what they learn, are set out under Ads and cookies.

How we use it

We use it to reply to you, to run your account and to keep the websites secure. We don't sell it.

Who helps us

• Vercel hosts the websites.
• Clerk handles sign-in.
• Microsoft handles our email.
• Stripe handles payments, if you pay us.
• Google and LinkedIn show Tenda's ads, and learn about your visit only if you accept ad cookies.

Some of them may store data outside the UK, with the safeguards UK law requires.

How long we keep it

Account details for as long as your account is open. Emails for as long as we need them to help you. Server logs for a short time only.

Ads and cookies

We advertise Tenda on Google and LinkedIn. When one of our ads brings you to tenda.eshmere.ai, this is who learns what:

• Google Ads: that you came from our ad, the page you landed on, and whether you signed up. Only if you accept ad cookies.
• LinkedIn: the same, through the LinkedIn Insight Tag. Only if you accept ad cookies.
• Meta: the same, through the Meta Pixel. Only while we run ads on Meta, and only if you accept ad cookies.
• Tenda: which ad or page brought you, kept with your account when you sign up. This always happens, because it is in the link you followed, but nothing is stored in your browser unless you accept.

What the websites keep in your browser:

• tenda_cookie_choice, from Tenda: whether you accepted or rejected ad cookies, so we don't ask again. Kept for 12 months.
• The ad's tags from the link, from Tenda, so sign-up knows which ad it was. Only after you accept, and only in that browser tab until you close it.
• tenda_first_source, from Tenda's app: the first ad or page that brought you. Only after you accept. Kept for 90 days.
• _gcl_au, from Google: links your ad click to a sign-up. Only after you accept. Kept for 90 days.
• LinkedIn's cookies, set by the Insight Tag as listed in LinkedIn's cookie table. Only after you accept. Kept for up to a year.
• The cookies the websites need to work, such as keeping you signed in and your light or dark theme.

If you reject, no ad tags run and nothing about the ad is stored in your browser. If you sign up from that page, we still see which ad brought you, because it is in the link you clicked.

To change your mind, use Cookie choices at the bottom of Tenda's pages.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@eshmere.ai. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
